The Silence Will Fall

A Poem

The day will come
When we’ll gather again
Without fear
Of the silence we wear
Slung about us and draped
Over shoulders turned inwards
Abruptly displayed
Outwards to others
To stay away and obey
And follow the symbols
Of warnings and glares.
