A Ray of Light on a Dark Day

I hear your words as
Solitary rays of light~
Heralds of the dawn.

As gentle whispers
A breeze among the blossoms
Petals on the lips.

Silken ripples fall
As softly crashing waves
In moonlit orchards.

Messengers of spring
Alight on flowing water~
Vessels bearing joy.

Drawn by hope spawning
As golden fishes swimming~
Little egrets hunt.

The first haikus I’ve written in a while and inspired by Anna Murzyn.
Is it time to wake up yet, I feel like it’s time? Hibernation's over.
